It’s that time of year again. Fortnitemares is back as a spooky, Halloween-themed event in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
This year’s Fortnitemares will be the first to feature the excellent No-Build Mode, which will now include a Horde Rush replete with a final boss. While the main Fortnitemares event only lasts until November 1st, the Horde Rush will be available through November 15th and the v22.40 update.
You can also transform into a werewolf in this year’s Fortnitemares. Simply head to the Reality Tree’s Alteration Altars and perform the Ritual Emote. This will grant you the special melee Howler Claws as well as werewolf abilities Wolfscent, Slash and Air Slash.
Here’s where to find the Alteration Altars on the map:
As you can see, there are three Alteration Altars to the east of the Reality Tree, all fairly close to one another. Approach and perform the Ritual Emote and you’ll become a werewolf with similar moves to Wolverine and his claws during the Marvel season.
But there are many other Alteration Altars to find scattered across the map as well:
On top of this, there will be two new Fortnitemares quests available each day of the event. Completing these challenges will get you XP and some cool prizes including the Everything’s End Glider (5 quests completed) the Chrome Cage Back Bling (13 completed) and the Unmaker Pickaxe (25 completed). You have until November 1st at 2am ET to finish these quests.
As always, Candy and the Pumpkin Launcher will make their way back to the Halloween event. Spooky new Named Location Grim Gables has also popped up on the Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4 map, just north of the central lake.
Here’s the Fortnitemares 2022 gameplay trailer:
The fortnite dragun rune lance harvesting tool has been disabled because it gave players an unfair advantage due to a glitch. Unlock access to the ninja hero. Dragon scorch is a ninja available in the save the world.
