In the new season of Fortnite we’ve ditched Alien Artifacts and now have special Color Bottles we need to find to customize one of Season 8’s most endearing new characters: Toona Fish.
As you can see, Toona Fish is basically a vintage cartoon version of Fishstick. His default style is black and white, but you can color him in by finding Color Bottles. You’ll need to find three bottles of each to unlock any given color.
Where To Find Color Bottles
Here are all the Color Bottle locations on the map:
- Knight Crimson – Fort Crumpet
- V-Labs Magenta – Misty Meadows
- Cuddly Pink – Steamy Stacks
- Ruby Red – Lockie’s Lighthouse
- Renegade Red – Boney Burbs
- Pumpkin Orange – The Orchard
- Midas Gold – Catty Corner
- Desert Sand – wreckage west of Pleasant Park
- Banana Yellow – Rainbow Rentals
- Leafy Green – Stealthy Stronghold
- Recruit Green – Weeping Woods bridge
- Codename G.R.N. – Corny Crops
- Ghoulish Green – Shanty Town
- Slurp Turquoise – Sludgy Swamp
- Diamond Blue – Gorgeous Gorge
- Frozen Blue – Coral Castle
- Crystalline Blue – wreckage south of Dirty Docks
- Brite Purple – Retail Row
- Mesmerizing Violet – wreckage south of Believer Beach
- Robotic Grey – Destroyed Dish
- Stone Grey – Mount F8
Rainbow Ink
On top of Color Bottles, you’ll find Rainbow Ink as you search chests at various locations. Rainbow Ink allows you to unlock character styles for Toona Fish, including many classics.
But you’ll need to unlock the corresponding Color Bottle before you can spend Rainbow Ink you’ve gathered to unlock these styles. So you’ll need to find three bottles of Knightly Crimson before you can spend Rainbow Ink on the Red Knight style.
Here’s where to find the Color Bottles for each corresponding Toona Fish character style.
- Red Knight – Fort Crumpet
- Lexa – Misty Meadows
- Cuddle Team Leader – Steamy Stacks
- Ruby – Lockie’s Lighthouse
- Renegade Red – Boney Burbs
- Punk – The Orchard
- Midas – Catty Corner
- Scorpion – wreckage west of Pleasant Park
- Peely – Rainbow Rentals
- Bushranger – Stealthy Stronghold
- Jonesy – Weeping Woods bridge
- Codename E.L.F. – Corny Crops
- Ghoul Trooper – Shanty Town
- Rippley – Sludgy Swamp
- Diamond Diva – Gorgeous Gorge
- Snow Heart – Coral Castle
- Crystal – wreckage south of Dirty Docks
- Brite Bomber – Retail Row
- Mezmer – wreckage south of Believer Beach
- A.I.M. – Destroyed Dish
- Love Ranger – Mount F8
Kind of a fun new customization gimmick even if Toona Fish really basically looks the same from one to the next. There’s not quite the same degree of customization here as there was for Kymera last season, but I like Toona Fish better nevertheless.
