The Fortnite Indiana Jones challenges are now live and one of the objectives requires you to solve a secret door code.
There’s lots to enjoy in Epic Games’ battle royale right now. The developers have just given us update v21.20 and it has added lots to the game including a new hero questline from a fox named Fennix as detailed in the Homebase Status Report.
While there’s lots to enjoy, the best addition is obviously the arrival of two outfits for famed explorer Indy.

How to find Indiana Jones secret door code in Fortnite
The Indiana Jones secret door code in Fortnite requires you to find four rune symbols from west to east around Shuffled Shrines.
You must have the rune symbols in the main chamber set up correctly from left-to-right, and you know the proper order by finding the correct symbols around Shuffled shrines. Below is a map of the location for each symbol as well as the order you must find them in:
The first rune symbol of the secret door code is found beneath ground. Simply take the stairs down and you will find the first symbol. If you need to, you can go back to the main chamber to change the first symbol of the puzzle.
Epic Games’ second hidden rune is found through the lily pads and behind a broken bit of wall. The third can be found underneath a tent.
Lastly, the fourth one is found in wooden pens. Even if your map is slightly different, the secret door code runes will still be found in the above spots marked on the map.
After you’ve done all of the above, return to the main chamber and change the runes to the colours you found in order of location.

- You know how to fly, don’t you? Unlocks the Raider’s Relics Pickaxe.
- COLLECT THE DURRRBURGER RELIC FROM THE TEMPLE AND THE RUINS IN A SINGLE MATCH
- It belongs in a museum. Unlocks the Expedition Bag Back Bling.
- FIND THE SECRET DOOR PAST THE MAIN CHAMBER IN SHUFFLED SHRINES
- Don’t worry, there aren’t any snakes. Unlocks the built-in Indy’s Dustoff Emote for the Indiana Jones Outfit.
- STASH AN ITEM OF MYTHIC OR EXOTIC RARITY IN A TENT
- Time to get some fortune and glory. Unlocks the Indy’s Escape Spray.
- MAKE RUNAWAY BOULDERS ROLL FOR 100 METERS IN A SINGLE MATCH
- You call THIS archaeology? Unlocks the Doctor Jones Emoticon.
- DO 750 DAMAGE TO OPPONENTS WITH A PISTOL
- “Trust me.” Unlocks the First Misadventure Loading Screen.
- FINISH TOP 5 IN A MATCH
- Just make it up as you go. Unlocks the Emergency Raft Glider.
Completing all of the above will unlock you the standard Indiana Jones skin and the Temple Explorer alternate.
