Fortnite reveals Dwayne Johnson as "The Foundation" while SpiderMan joins Chapter 3

Fortnite continues to impress its users with new characters and storylines, this time revealing Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as the voice behind the masked character, The Foundation.

The Foundation is the leader of an organization known as The Seven. They are dedicated to maintaining the Imagined Order (IO) from abusing the nexus of all Fortnite reality.

During today's one-time-only "The End" event, Fortnite brought The Foundation back from the dead to save Jonesy from Dr. Sloan, and ultimately flip the island onto the Cube Queen's head to finish her off for good.

Fortnite's reveal of The Rock as the man behind the mask shocked tons of its users, but some had already sniffed out his involvement in the game.

The Rock shared a post on Instagram advertising his Zoa energy drink and in that post, some of his followers pointed out that his fridge stored The Foundation's mask.

More keen observers would have also noticed how The Foundation's suit is shaped to match The Rock's tattoos.

Now that his characted flipped the island, Fortnite will reveal the new map when enough players tweet out #FortniteFlipped.

A leaked trailer of Epic's Fortnite Chapter 3 also broke the internet, showing Spider-Man as the new face of Season 8.

There's no better character to represent #FortniteFlipped than the man who hangs upside down on his web.
