How to Complete Fortnite's Star Wars May the 4th Quests CBR

Fortnite has officially kicked off a celebration of all things Star Wars in its newest limited-time event, running from May 3 to 17. Within this time period, players will be able to access a plethora of Star Wars content within the game, including lightsabers, which are making a reappearance, Stormtrooper weaponry and all manner of cosmetic skins returning to the online store. However, this year, to help celebrate "May the 4th," the developers at Epic Games have added a little something extra along with all the other Star Wars-centric content to the map.

A handful of Star Wars-themed quests have been added to this season's already gargantuan list of tasks that players can complete for copious amounts of experience points. If players can complete all six quests within a limited time, Fortnite offers a unique prize: a brand new banner icon in the form of the familiar logo of the evil Galactic Empire. Each quest will also net players 30,000 XP upon completion, providing a great bonus boost to those trying to level up this season's battle pass. Here's how to complete each Star Wars quest before time runs out.

Land at a Stormtrooper Checkpoint, Then Place in the Top 25

One of the most surprising additions brought to the map by the limited-time event is a series of Stormtrooper checkpoints manned by the iconic soldiers. Ostensibly on a hunt for Obi-Wan Kenobi, these NPCs can be encountered by players and interacted with. All this quest requires is for players to land at one of the three roadblocks scattered across the map (see above) and then survive into the top 25 throughout the match. Once the top 25 placements have been achieved, players are free to continue or intentionally get killed, as the quest requirements will be satisfied.

Complete a Bounty from a Stormtrooper

This quest also requires the use of the Stormtrooper roadblocks, as the NPCs can be interacted with in order to put a bounty on another player. Upon activating the bounty, one random player will be highlighted within a rather wide yellow circle that continues to shrink as the bounty's timer runs out. This gives hunters a better sense of where their prey is located over time. If a hunter can find and take out their prey within the time limit, the quest will be completed.

Players will have to be careful though, as the gamer who acts as the bounty can see when their bounty hunter is near due to a threat meter that appears on the screen for the bounty duration. This system mirrors the same bounty system in Call of Duty battle royale, Warzone. It's probably the quest that players should focus on the most as it is arguably the most difficult to achieve of the bunch.

Damage Opponents with an E-11 Blaster Rifle

This quest is one of three weapon-centric ones on the list and requires players to wield the iconic rifle of the Stormtrooper, the E-11 Blaster Rifle. This mythic weapon can either be looted throughout the map, or purchased from the Stormtrooper roadblocks for 100 gold bars. Upon acquiring the weapon, players will simply have to engage other characters within a distance of 30 meters and cause 1,000 points of damage in total.

This quest is surely a nod to the infamously poor aim of the original trilogy's Stormtroopers. It's a fun one to complete and will track damage inflicted cumulatively over time. The amount of damage needed may seem like a large amount but if players prioritize either finding or buying the E-11 and using it as much as possible, this quest can be completed in a few matches.

Block 10 Hits with a Lightsaber

it's dynamite fortnite

Along with the appearance of the E-11, Fortnite has also brought back the lightsabers of some of Star Wars' biggest heroes and villains. They are dotted across the map and available to be looted. For this quest, players will have to acquire a lightsaber and then find another player to engage with it equipped.

By holding the left trigger, players are able to raise the lightsaber into a defensive position, and even block incoming bullets Jedi-style. The weapon won't block every hit, so players will need to be careful. However, this quest is relatively straightforward and can be completed in one to two matches.

Survive Storm Phases with a Lightsaber

Another relatively easy quest, which can be completed along with the previous one, requires players to simply find and hold onto a lightsaber for five different storm phases. This doesn't have to happen during one match -- just five in total during the event. Lightsabers are very easy to find, and as long as players make an effort to find one and hold onto it, this quest should be a piece of cake.

Take a Star Wars-Themed Road Trip

By far the easiest quest of the bunch, this one requires players to simply land at either Logjam Lumberyard or Chonker's Speedway, and then drive a vehicle to any Stormtrooper roadblock without getting out. Logjam is located on the northwestern snowy portion of the map while the Speedway is to the southeast. Both feature a plethora of vehicles to take. As long as players make sure not to exit the vehicle at any point on the journey, this one is an easy 30,000 XP for a simple ride through the countryside.
