UPDATE November 8th: As we edge closer to Season 9, rumours and leaks are starting to circulate on social media, and now there is an in-depth look at the trailer and leaks so far!

Release Date
With Season 8 having only just been released, we are not expecting to see Season 9 for a number of months.
If we look at the pattern of launches regarding new seasons, it appears to be every three months which could mean that we could see Season 9 release in December 2021 – just in time for a Christmas update from Epic.
More specifically, @FortniteBR recently said on Twitter that Season 8 will be coming to an end on Sunday 5th December 2021, which means that we could be seeing Monday 6th December 2021.
Map
We are expecting changes to be made to the map during this season. But what they are as of 20th September 2021 is yet to be seen- and doubt we will hear anything for some time.

Trailer
It is still early days so we are not expecting to see a trailer anytime soon – not until at least November.
We will upload any trailers here that are published over the coming months.
Battle Pass
Details concerning Season 9’s battle pass will appear here once leaked or confirmed by Epic.
Theme
With Season 7 given an alien ship and Season 8 granted the ancient Egyptian angle, it is not yet clear which direction Fortnite will head in next. We are sure that Epic Games are working on it right now so we will update this section as soon as leaks begin to emerge.
Skins
All available skins in Season 9 will appear here in due course.
