ravina skin fortnite
With ten days to go, Halloween has arrived in Fortnite for the return of Fortnitemares, the annual event that has special skins and prizes and map changes. This time? It’s Midas’ Revenge, as the golden boss is alive again after being dead for more than a season, and he’s out for vengeance.
But more pressingly, because of today’s massive patch, a 27 GB update meant to reduce the overall size of Fortnite by 60 GB, we also have access to upcoming leaked Fortnitemares skins. These are all courtesy of HypeX, one of the top leakers in the game, and there are going to be a whole bunch to choose from, even if none hold a candle to Denni’s Academy Calamity, if you ask me.
Here are the new skins:
Party Trooper - Which brings Skull Trooper back with a new neon variant that looks pretty rad, if you ask me. Wear him to your next Party Royale concert.
Bone Squad - A collection of older skins given new live in skeletal form. Skeleton Fishstick kind of seemed inevitable at a certain point.
Punk - He’s not just a pumpkin, he’s a cool pumpkin, like the Headless Horseman’s rebellious son or something.
The Good Doctor - Here we’re using the built-in emote transformation functionality of the superheroes to apply to some new skins as well. We saw it with a witch already, now we have a Jekyll and Hyde skin, even if it’s not called that.
Head Lock - A zombie with his head in a cage so he can’t bite people? I honestly don’t really know.
Ravina - Green demon lady who I guess can go to a rave with Party Trooper.
Baby Yaga - Well, if you’re complaining about Fortnite skins always using the same slim, young, fit female model, we are finally branching out a bit here with a very folklore-ish Baby Yaga skin.
Patch - Oh I get it. “Punk” and “Patch.” Cute. This is a very ugly skin though.
Undead Midas - HypeX thinks this skin is unfinished, but even if he’s a boss NPC at the new haunted Authority base, we will probably seem him available for purchase eventually. Or maybe he’s an unlock for your existing Midas skin.
I just...don’t really love these? Again, I feel like I’ve seen a lot of fan skins that were better than the official offerings here, and none of these are really must-haves for me. But seriously, get Academy Calamity in the store already.
