Apex Legends Season 14 is on the way, and here’s everything that you need to know about it, including the release date, new Legend, map changes, level cap increase, and more.
Apex Legends players have enjoyed all the content that arrived in Apex Legends Season 13, but it’s time for a new update and perhaps even a meta change.
Players are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next seasonal update, and we’ll go over everything we know about Apex Legends Season 14, including when it’s set to go live, who the new Legend is, and the balance changes.
Apex Legends Season 14, titled Hunted, has been officially confirmed to begin on August 9, 2022. At that point, Season 13’s Battle Pass will come to end, so you’ll need to hurry if you want to progress through all the remaining tiers.
Once Apex Legends Season 14 arrives, players will have access to a ton of fun new content, including a brand-new Legend as well as some major changes to the King’s Canyon map.
Vantage is the brand-new Season 14 Legend and we got a first look at her in the Stories from the Outlands episode released on July 25 titled “Survive.” This character is from Pagos, a “barren ice planet” where she learned how to become the “ultimate survivalist.”
According to leaks, she uses her Sniper Rifle to scan for enemies and then mark them for her squad to finish off. Her ability set reportedly allows her to launch herself toward a helpful winged companion known as Echo.
Aside from adding a new Legend, the Apex Legends developers also confirmed that the fan-favorite King’s Canyon map will be receiving a major overhaul and will be known as King’s Canyon Reforged.
A teaser from EA states: “Time changes everything, and Kings Canyon is no exception. What will rise from the ashes of the past?” At the time of writing, it remains to be seen exactly what changes the reworked map will feature.

You will be able to loop through levels 1-500 three additional times.
The total number of packs you can now earn through leveling up is 544 (guaranteed heirloom!)
EA have officially confirmed that the new Level Cap for Apex Legends is effectively 2000. Players will be able to reach level 500 four times, and for more information on how this will work, check out our guide on the new Apex Legends Level Cap increase.
Weapons
Apex Legends Season 14 brings some intriguing changes to weapons. First off, the Wingman and Spitfire are changing their weapon type, with the Wingman now taking Sniper ammo and attachments, as well as the Spitfire now becoming a Light weapon.

The Skullpiercer Hop-Up also returns, giving the weapons available to the Hop-Up increased headshot multiplier.
The EVA-8 is also receiving some changes, as its fire rate is being increased and it now has the ability to take a stock for even more accuracy and recoil control. The Double-Tap Hop-Up also returns.
Care Package weapons
The Apex Legends Season 14 Care Package weapons are the Bocek Bow and the Rampage LMG. This means that the Volt and G7 are returning to floor loot, with the Double-Tap Hop-Up also being available for the G7.
Gold equipment
The Gold Equipment is also receiving some changes in Apex Legends Season 14, as Self-Revive is being removed. The Gold Knockdown Shield will now have Guardian Angel, while the Gold Backpack will have Deep Pockets, which allows players to carry more meds.
