Fortnite's latest collaboration with Capcom's Street Fighter is introducing two new iconic characters to the game — Sakura Kasugano and Blanka.
To celebrate Street Fighter's 35th anniversary, Fortnite engages with its third collaboration with Capcom's iconic brawler franchise, introducing Blanka and Sakura to the expanding metaverse world of the world-renown battle royale. Blanka, also known as Jimmy, is a feral-looking Brazilian characterized by his green skin and the ability to generate electricity. Sakura Kasugano is a spirited Japanese girl added to Fortnite with an intense passion for proving herself to Ryu, the main protagonist of the Street Fighter series.
Fortnite's two new Street Fighter characters also come with their own unique skin variants and cosmetic gear. Blanka fans can match their avatar with the Tropical Hazard Kebab Pickaxe, the Blanka Backflip Emote, and the goofy yet adorable Blanka-Chan Back Bling. Blanka's alternate Style is Blanka Delgado, an outfit inspired by the sharply dressed Boman Delgado from Capcom's Rival Schools. As for Sakura, players can equip her with the Fighting Tournament Trophy Pickaxe, the Hanakaze Claw Back Bling, Kayari Buta Glider, and her Victory Sway Emote. Sakura fans can also play in her Gym outfit from Street Fighter 4, featuring tight red shorts and an athletic white T-shirt in Fortnite.
To unlock the new Street Fighter skins in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, players will need to spend V-Bucks to purchase the items within the in-game shop. The characters themselves cost 1,600 V-Bucks each, while the Pickaxes or Back Bling are worth 800 V-Bucks per gear piece. The only "free" content from this collaboration in Fortnite is the Bonus Stage Loading Screen, featuring splash art of Sakura and Blanka participating in Street Fighter's iconic beat-'em-up scenario where characters smash up a car. This Loading Screen is granted as a reward for top performers in the Blanka and Sakura Cup in Fortnite.

On the other hand, Fortnite fans can also obtain the Bonus Stage Loading Screen and other Street Fighter items by buying the collab bundles available in the store. Below are the bundles, including their items obtainable for a single purchase and exclusive to the Fortnite bundle:
