The Quintessential Quintuplets The Movie is out now in Japan
The Quintessential Quintuplets movie is out in Japanese theaters and fans in the West are wondering if the movie has an international release date on Crunchyroll and in American cinemas.
The Quintessential Quintuplets movie got its release date in Japan announced on December 29, 2021, and the movie has now been released in theaters this May 20, 2022.

The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie Should Arrive on Streaming Platforms by the end of 2022
A worldwide release date was not confirmed yet by The Quintessential Quintuplets Twitter account or Crunchyroll. We can however expect some kind of announcement soon now that the movie is out in Japan, especially seeing the series' popularity.

Seeing the Japanese release was this May, it's safe to say an international release in theaters or on English streaming platforms will happen before 2022 ends.
The Quintessential Quintuplets is known as 5Toubun no Hanayome in Japan. The first word is pronounced Gotoubun so you can find the title written that way as well.
Negi Haruba is the author of The Quintessential Quintuplets' original manga. It was his first manga where he did both the story and illustrations. It quickly became one of the most popular love comedies of the last ten years thanks to its unique premise. The manga also won the 43rd Kodansha Manga Award in 2019 for Shounen Manga category.
The story features Uesugi Fuutarou (voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, aka Kirito in SAO), a poor high school student who ends up tutoring the Nakano daughters, the five quintuplets of a rich family. We have Ichika (Kana Hanazawa), Nino (Ayana Taketatsu), Miku (Miku Itō), Yotsuba (Ayane Sakura), and Itsuki (Inori Minase).
A first console game visual novel adaptation of the series was released by Mages (Steins,Gate) in 2021. A second game will be released on June 2, 2022, on PS4 and Switch, titled Eiga Gotoubun no Hanayome Kimi to Sugoshita Itsutsu no Omoide. This second game has an ending for each of the Heroines. Both games are probably never getting localized.
