Players are reporting that fortnite is not working and that they’re stuck on checking for updates on february 1st, 2022. Low Mesh quality issue fixed!

Fortnite has just received a new update on PC and it fixes a single issue with the setting options, where the Low Mesh quality option wouldn't apply the changes into the game.

A few weeks earlier, Fortnite players officially stepped into Chapter 3 Season 2 with some big gameplay changes and new features. Probably the biggest change was the removal of the fortifications or build options, which was replaced by a new feature called Overcharged Shield.

Later on, Epic Games announced that the removal of fortifications has been translated into a brand new game mode called Zero Build. With this new mode, you can now choose to play the same old Fortnite with fortifications or play a simpler and more straightforward version of the game.

That being said, every new season brings some bugs and issues that should be fixed and addressed as soon as possible. After a few hotfixes that Fortnite received on various platforms, Epic Games launched a new hotfix update on PC less than an hour earlier, resolving an issue with the Low-Mesh quality option in the settings.
