Reddit User has figured out how to calculate Fortnite fall damage Elecspo

Finally, we now know what the real Fortnite fall damage is meant to be!

Fall damage is one of the worst things in Fortnite – other than the price of skins. Sometimes, you will drop about 3ft and then take almost 40 damage – leaving you open to opponents finishing you off.

It feels so incredibly random and has many players quite angry about it. While it sucks that it appears to be random at times – one Reddit user has calculated the exact amount of damage you will take from specific heights.

RealSkylitPanda did the numbers, so we didn’t have to, and has come up with two different charts; one for walking and one for jumping off buildings.

Walking:

  • 3 walls: 0
  • 3.3 walls: 0
  • 3.5 walls: 11
  • 4 walls: 19
  • 4.3 walls: 26
  • 4.5 walls: 34
  • 5 walls: 49
  • 5.3 walls: 63
  • 5.5 walls: 74
  • 6 walls: 99
  • 6+ walls: Death

Jumping:

  • 3 walls: 12
  • 3.3 walls: 17
  • 3.5 walls: 21
  • 4 walls: 36
  • 4.3 walls: 44
  • 4.5 walls: 52
  • 5 walls: 77
  • 5.3 walls: 91
  • 5.5+ walls: Death

Now, these numbers haven’t been confirmed, but they do seem pretty precise, and it is clear from the picture that he has done some serious research around it.

However, many players still seem to get huge amounts of fall damage regardless of if they drop from 3 walls height or less. With that being said, these numbers might be worthwhile remembering next time you decide to jump down off a building.
