Fortnite: How to Emote at the Flairship

Use this Fortnite guide to learn where to find the Flairship to complete one of the weekly challenges.

Every Thursday, there are new weekly quests added to Fortnite. Some quests tend to be easier and more straightforward than others, and sometimes players need a little help figuring out where they need to go to complete certain quests.

This guide will explain where the Flairship is located in the new Fortnite season's map at the moment (it has a tendency to hover over the island in random places) and how gamers can get on it and emote. This has been a recurrent quest this season as it was part of week zero and week two's quests. Players that haven't already done this during week zero can now do it for the second week and do the two challenges at once.

Where Is The Flairship (And How To Emote On It)

The map changes completely between Chapters; however, when the season changes, there are usually some major map changes as well. This is exactly what happened when Chapter 3 Season 3 ended and Season 4 started. The Flairship is one of these recent additions, which is perhaps why this season's weekly quests have insisted on getting players to go there - to incentivize them to explore the new areas of the map.

The Flairship was located on the northwestern side of the map, just by the Rave Cave location. However, in a recent update, it moved to Grim Gables. The Flairship is now hovering over the river that leads to Behemoth Bridge -- it's a floating ship that's hard to miss. Players will have to use the ziplines that lead up there to get on it.

This is generally a safe location to land even if the storm safe zone is far away since there are wind turbines on the side of the ships nearby that players can use to relocate at any time.

Players can use any emote to complete this quest. But if they're trying to complete the "emote for five seconds in the Flairship," a continuous emote is better than a short 200 V-Bucks emote. The dancing can be done on any part of the ship -- on top, inside, or at its sides. All that's necessary is to get on it, open the emote wheel and pick an emote.

Fortnite is free-to-play on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
