Credit: Epic GamesThis is the week you can finally claim the Aquaman skin in Fortnite after five weeks of challenges.
You can read Paul Tassi’s guide to help you claim your trident, which will unlock both the trident pick-axe and the Aquaman skin, provided you’ve already done the now-bugged whirlpool challenge. Now, it’s time to claim his alt style, shirtless Jason Momoa Aquaman, clearly the only real choice for this skin (also known as the Arthur Curry skin).
This challenge has been live for a while, but you could not do it until today when you got the skin. You need to dive over the waterfall at Gorgeous Gorge while wearing the Aquaman skin.
While the map has shifted due to all the flooding, Gorgeous Gorge is in the same place it always was. Here it is on the map, it’s now by the floating boat store that runs between two cliffs. Once you’re there, I would get in the water rather than jumping off the cliff next to it, as I’m not sure that will count.

Once in the water, just swim toward the edge of the waterfall and jump. Then give an Aquaman “wahooo!” as you do so, though I suppose that’s optional. This should complete the challenge and unlock the shirtless style for you.
Given that these are really the only two looks for Aquaman in the DCEU, I would not expect additional secret styles. Maybe a funny comic book blond Aquaman head option? I doubt it, so this is probably it. We know that a Black Manta skin is coming—likely this evening in the Item Shop—but past that, we may be mostly done with Aquaman after this week, unless he decides he wants to throw a yacht party or something.
The next DC skin we were likely to see in Fortnite was Wonder Woman, as part of a seemingly inevitable cross promotion with WW 1984, and yet that movie has been delayed into late fall, and at this rate, it may not even make it out this year at all with movie theaters seemingly remaining closed forever. So if there was a crossover planned for that, I wouldn’t expect to see it for a long while. The same goes for Marvel, as we were supposed to be watching Black Widow already, which isn’t happening, though we do already have a Black Widow skin in the game. Albeit not one that looks anything like Scarlett Johansson.
More superhero stuff to come, just not for a while, I guess.
