What, did you think Epic Games are going to flood Fortnite's map without throwing in a few thematic events? Summer Splash 2020 has kicked off and it brings a bunch of LTMs with it.
"With the flood turning the entire Island into a waterfront destination, it’s time to grab your swimsuit, an ice-cold jar of Slurp Juice, and dive into the Summer Splash", the studio wrote.
So, as of now and until Season 3 draws to a halt, Fortnite players will be getting a rotation of brand new limited-time modes (LTM), as well as some popular fan favourites from the past. It goes without saying that it comes with a bunch of new themed cosmetics to go with all the splashing.
Epic listed a few LTMs like Fog of War, formerly known as Sneaky Silencers, Close Encounters, Unvaulted and Catch!, but there should be quite a few more. Additionally, some of the classic LTMs will come with "Summer Splash refreshments".
"Brand new LTMs will kick off in a future update and include new takes on Operation: Knockout, a reel ‘em in royale, and a game of elimination-powered upgrades", Epic wrote.
As for the cosmetics, you can check out some of Fortnite Summer Splash 2020's upcoming outfits below, ranging from summer and sea themes to food. Players will be getting Par Patroller, Cozy and Comfy Chomps, Starflare, as well as the returning ones like Summer Drift and Beach Bomber.
