Aliens have invaded the Fortnite world and changed our lives as we know them. But one thing remains the same: challenges. Completing challenges is the best and most efficient way of earning XP in Fortnite. Players will need this XP to acquire Battle Stars, the currency used to unlock items in Chapter 2 - Season 7’s Battle Pass. Ignoring challenges will make it near impossible to unlock Season 7’s signature skins like Rick Sanchez and Superman.
Now that we’ve harped on the importance of completing challenges, let’s get into the details. Each Week 6 challenge grants a substantial 30,000 XP. Completing all Week 6 challenges will grant players an enormous 375,000 XP. As you can see, these challenges are not something you want to miss out on.
Six weeks into the new season and the war between the island’s inhabitants and the alien invaders rages on. The aliens have become bolder, abducting the island’s inhabitants at a rapid rate. It’s time for us to fight back. Week 6 has Fortnite players working with the non-player characters (NPCs) of the island to push back on the alien scum. In return, we will be awarded loads of XP and Battle Stars.
Epic Quests
Collect Bars (500) - 30,000 XP
Players can obtain Gold Bars through three primary methods. These methods include:
- Eliminating enemy players
- Opening chests
- Completing bounties and other quests assigned by NPCs, Bounty Boards, and Payphones
This challenge tasks players with collecting 500 total Gold Bars. This can be done slowly through multiple matches, but there are ways to expedite the process. In fact, it’s possible to earn over 1,000 Gold Bars in a single match by replicating a series of specific steps.
How you acquire the Bars is on you. Just make sure your bag has 500 shiny new pieces of Gold in it by the end.

Spend Bars (500) - 30,000 XP
We hope you held onto those Gold Bars! Now it’s time to spend your hard-earned dough.
Players can spend their Gold Bars at NPCs, Vending Machines, and Upgrade Benches to obtain new items, upgrade current weapons, or even turn into a prop.
If you’re feeling generous, it’s possible to spend 500 Gold Bars in one purchase at any NPC by tipping the bus driver. This method may be the easiest way to blow through your Gold Bars, but you won’t get anything in return.
Players looking to profit off of their Gold Bar investment should consider purchasing an Exotic weapon or upgrading their weapons. Upgrading weapons can drain your Bars fast, as an Epic to Legendary upgrade will set you back 500 Bars exactly. Alternatively, Maven, Riot, Abstrakt, and Guggimon sell different Exotic weapons. These weapons cost 400-500 Gold Bars to acquire, just enough to cap out your spending quest.
This challenge is a shopaholic’s dream. Set your wallet free and let those Gold Bars fly.
Destroy equipment on top of Abductors (3) - 30,000 XP
Abductors are the giant alien spaceships that spawn randomly above different named points of interest each match. As the name suggests, these ships will abduct players and take them to the Mothership. We had to deal damage near these massive spaceships back in Week 4.
fortnite hayseedAbductors are easy to spot in-game, but they are also marked on the map. On top of each Abductor is a ton of alien tech and equipment like wires and computers. Land on top of an Abductor and destroy this equipment with your pickaxe. This challenge will complete once three pieces of equipment have been destroyed.

Open chests or ammo boxes in low-gravity areas (3) - 30,000 XP
Holly Hatchery is the place to go for players looking to open chests or ammo boxes in low-gravity areas. This can be done on the Mothership as well, but getting there can be tricky.
Holly Hatchery is the name for the location previously known as Holly Hedges. The alien invaders have taken over this POI, surrounding many of the buildings with anti-gravity barriers. Players will need to travel into these areas and loot chests/ammo boxes. Open a total of three chests and/or ammo boxes combined to finish up another Week 6 Epic Quest.
The new Alien Nanites can prove useful to players stuck on this particular challenge. Find yourself with an Alien Nanite in your inventory but no anti-gravity areas around? Throw down an Alien Nanite to create an on-the-fly anti-gravity zone. Any chests or ammo boxes looted within this temporary anti-gravity zone will count toward this challenge.

Deploy Alien Nanites anywhere other than Holly Hatchery (3) - 30,000 XP
Speaking of Alien Nanites, this next challenge tasks players with deploying them. The only restriction is that the Alien Nanites cannot be deployed at the Holly Hatchery POI.
The most common spawn point for Alien Nanites is in chests on the Mothership. To get to the Mothership, players will need to get abducted by aliens. This can happen randomly during a match, but the Abductors that were part of week 6’s earlier Epic Quests serve as a guaranteed passageway to the Mothership.
Visit any Abductor on the map and stand beneath it. After a short time, the Abductor will lift you in the air and zap you to the Mothership. Here, players will have a period of seconds where they can loot dozens of chests to their heart’s content. These chests usually always have some Alien Nanites in them. Grab a few and wait to be sent back to the Fortnite island.
Once on solid land again, begin to deploy your Alien Nanites. Deploy three total Alien Nanites to complete this quest.
One clue to the south of the farmhouse. In the small garage next to the grain silo elevator. Challenges like this are fairly common, and thankfully, straightforward enough.

Destroy Alien trees (5) - 30,000 XP
Back to Holly Hatchery we go. This time, we’re here to destroy alien trees. Alien trees have popped up within the anti-gravity zones around Holly Hatchery. Enter the anti-gravity zones and destroy the colourful and exotic trees with your pickaxe.
A quick 30,000 XP will be awarded once five alien trees have been destroyed.
Plant saplings at Stumpy Ridge, Fork Knife Food Truck, or FN Radio (3) - 30,000 XP
Stumpy Ridge, the Fork Knife Food Truck, and FN Radio have been deforested, and it’s up to us to replant the trees. Each of these three locations is littered with spots to place baby saplings.
Travel to Stumpy Ridge, Fork Knife Food Truck, or FN Radio and search the area for blue holograms in the shape of saplings. Interact with the hologram to plant the young tree.
We only need to plant three saplings, so you shouldn’t need to visit more than one of these landmarks.
If you get lost, remember that Stumpy Ridge is located north of Hydro 16, the Fork Knife Food Truck is north of Lazy Lake, and FN Radio is east of Craggy Cliffs.
Legendary Quests
Place Prepper Supplies in Hayseed’s Farm (1) – 45,000 XP
Week 6’s first Legendary Quest has us travelling to Hayseed’s Farm to gift him some Prepper Supplies for the ongoing alien invasion. This quest works similarly to challenges from previous weeks that had us placing various items.
There are five different spots at Hayseed’s Farm that players can place Prepper Supplies. However, you’ll only need to place one set of Prepper Supplies to complete this challenge.
Prepper Supply points are marked with a blue translucent hologram. Refer to the video below for the exact locations of all Prepper Supply placement points.
Deal damage to opponents in farms (25) – 30,000 XP
Sticking with the farm theme, the next quest requires players to deal 25 damage to opponents while within the perimeter of a farm. Therefore, this challenge can be completed at Hayseed’s Farm or Corny Complex.
We recommend using Corny Complex for this challenge. Damage dealt to IO Guards or Doctor Slone also count, making this quest a breeze. Land at Corny Complex and hit a shot or two on an IO Guard, and you’ll reach the 25 damage threshold with ease.
Use an Inflate-A-Bull (1) – 30,000 XP
The Inflate-A-Bull is Fortnite’s newest item. It can appear randomly from Chests and IO Chests, but the Inflate-A-Bull is also purchasable from Rick Sanchez for 25 Gold Bars.
Rick Sanchez can be found at the Defiant Dish east of Weeping Woods. Talk to him and buy an Inflate-A-Bull for 25 Gold Bars. Now, simply activate your new goody to complete the quest.

Place cow decoys in farms (3) – 30,000 XP
Cow decoys work exactly like the Prepper Supplies from Week 6’s first Legendary Quest. Any spot where a player can place a cow decoy will be marked by a blue, translucent hologram in the shape of a cow. These decoys can be placed at points around Hayseed’s Farm and Corny Complex.
There are over ten possible spots to place cow decoys, but we only need to put down three. Travel to Hayseed’s Farm or Corny Complex and search out these cow holograms. Interact with three of them to complete the quest.
Damage an alien-driven Saucer (25) – 30,000 XP
POIs marked on the map with a purple name are inhabited by aliens. Aliens will take over different POIs each game, so check the map before leaping out of the Battle Bus.
Land at an alien occupied POI and grab the first weapon you come across. Now, take a look up at the sky. You should see multiple Saucers in the air above, all piloted by aliens. Complete Week 6’s final Legendary Quest by firing your weapon at these Saucers until you have dealt 25 total damage.
We’ll be back next week with another edition of our Chapter 2 - Season 7 Fortnite Challenge Guide.
